Insurance
Provisions have been made for in-transit insurance. Bikes are insured only for fire, collision, theft, hijacking and overturning of the vehicle. The maximum insured value is R20 000 per bike (i.e. limited insurance). However, your maximum compensation value will be based on your bikes replacement value (limited to R20 000). For example, if your bike is valued at R4 000, then R4 000 will be your maximum compensation.
Note that additional cycling gear, for example shoes, pumps, helmets, etc. can be placed with your bike inside the box, however, the Insurer does not cover these items. Bikes are transported at the owners risk, as such, additional insurance to be taken out by the client is recommended.
VANLOAD Bike Transport will not be liable for damage to bikes caused by third parties.
General
Post cycle tour – Bikes are to be returned to Greenpoint stadium no later than 6pm on Sunday 11 March 2012. Should you miss the 6pm cut-off, VANLOAD Bike Transport will not be responsible for transporting your bike back to Johannesburg.
Bikes are to be collected no later than 10am on Saturday 17 March 2012. Thereafter, a storage fee of R50-00 per day comes into effect.
All material used to protect and transport the bikes, remains the property of VANLOAD Bike Transport.
Cancellations
Cancellations received on or before 20 January 2012 will be entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations received after 20 January 2012, will not be entitles to any refund.
Personal Information
Personal information supplied to VANLOAD Bike Transport via the Order From will be added to our client database. This information will be used for future communications and promotions offered by VANLOAD Bike Transport and its Associates.
